Quick up-date!

I always think about the blog and never seem to make the time to add to it!!!! Winter bla time is coming to a close and spring is just around the corner! I have already smelled spring here on the farm. It's hard to explain, but it's the soil. This means lots of pictures and produce news is also around the corner via the blog! Ben and I are still doing Toronto markets, so our presence is there with our frozen foods, our own storage cabbage and the Saturday market manager has asked us to provide folks with more variety, so we are "reselling." Crops such as beets, carrots, broccoli, salad mix to name a few. I don't like selling what's NOT mine, but to benefit the market and knowing that we grow so much of our own, I'm doing it to benefit the market and keep folks happy. This will be short lived, as Ben and I just fired the middle greenhouse this week and all will be happy to hear we have seeded all our onions, heirloom tomatoes, herbs, lettuces, asian greens and a few other crops to boot! We have a "Greenhouse plan"...hehehe. More news to follow, but the markets should be very happy with us this spring IF our hard work pays off................
